We will post here, and on the info line listed below as we get updates Updated on 8/4/95 at 9AM ATLANTA BALLOONATICS ATV/GPS BALLOON LAUNCH Scheduled launch date : Rescheduled to August 5th, 1995 For information call 1-404-936-3737 BALLOON PLANNING MEETING MINUTES 7/10/95 Major Topics : 1 Atlanta/Area balloonists group name determined. The new group name is "The Atlanta Balloonatics." 2 Money was collected to help pay for two 1200 gram balloons and the helium. The balloons are $63 each and the helium talk is approx. $50. $104 was collected and given to Tom (KE4WIO). 3 The ATV payload was completed and the completion status was obtained for the rest of the payloads. A meeting was set up for July 17th to weigh/review all completed payloads. Site directions will be provided at this meeting. 4 It was decided that on July 28th by 7:00pm a GO/NOGO status and launch site location would be placed on the 146.655 Atlanta area repeaters' digital voice recorder by David (KD4SHH). 5 Net, talk-around, balloon, and data frequencies were determined with the exception of the voice net frequency. This will be decided by net control on the eve of the launch. 6 Tim (KO4JO) read the press release and it met with everyones approval. General Information : 1.
